Photomontage:

I like to construct surrealist photomontages using sometimes dozens  of different photographs in a single image.  They are quite time-intensive, so there aren’t very many of them to date.

The “Great Land Slip of 2039” was made for the 2013 Lyme Regis ArtsFest, inspired by the engravings of the Great Land Slip of 1839 in Lyme’s wonderful museum.  I made a two-minute animation (complete with original music) showing the construction of the picture, which you can watch on You Tube (click on image for link).
